Pictured above is a pair of authentic Full-Fashioned Nylons in actual use. These nylons are manufactured as they were back in the 1940's and 1950's, these are the real thing! I'm wearing a pair of our Opera Length Full Fashioned Black.

These stockings are rare due to the complex manufacturing technique that is no longer cost effective for the large companies that manufacture most stockings available to today's woman. The stockings are manufactured on machinery produced in the 1950's that is capable of making only 30 legs (15 pair) a hour. Each stocking must then go through many additional steps, all labor intensive, to produce the finished product. A genuine fully-fashioned stocking is made from a flat piece of fabric produced on the mill and has a seam sewn into it to finish the stocking and give it the shape of a leg that makes it different from today's modern stockings which only have a seam added for appearance.

Our fully-fashioned nylons are guaranteed to be the finest 15 denier, 60 gauge product available and are unsurpassed for quality and fit. You will also be buying a bit of history mixed with a touch of elegance, nothing else made today even comes close to these beautiful nylons.

The Full-Fashioned Nylons that we have been selling for years have been renamed to Opera Length Full-Fashioned Nylons. This was done for two reasons, our supplier is now marking them that way and we have added a Full-Fashioned Nylon in a shorter length, about 3 to 4 inches shorter than Opera Length, for the smaller folks out there who have been unable to find Full-Fashioned in a size that fits them.
Our product has not changed, just renamed for the reasons noted above.

Sizing Information for Opera Length Full-Fashioned Nylons

Stocking size is based on your height and weight. These are general guidelines for average legs. Since they do not stretch the stocking will be shorter when worn on a heavier than average leg.

Small - 5'0" to 5'3", 100 to 115 lbs

Medium - 5'4" to 5'7", 115 to 135 lbs

Large - 5'8" to 5'10", 135 to 165 lbs

(Note - If your legs are a bit fuller than normal you may want to order the next larger size as these nylons do not stretch)

Opera Length Blackfoot Full-Fashioned Nylons

Our Blackfoot Nylons are an Opera Length Full-Fashioned stocking with something extra that sets them apart. The foot and heel, as well as the seam, are a very dark black as shown in the pictures. They are very striking when worn with a pair of open back heels and the black heel and seam will make you leg look slimmer.
The Blackfoot style is not generally available and we have been lucky enough to obtain them. They cost a bit more but are worth every penny! Try a pair or two, you will not be disappointed!

Our Opera Length Full-Fashioned Nylons are high quality stockings that are produced on machines that were built when real nylons were worn by every woman. Ours are 3 to 4 inches longer than the Regular Length Full-Fashioned to go with today's shorter fashions and are authentic in every detail, down to the finishing loop at the top. The seam is the same color as the stocking.

These are our Opera Length Full-Fashioned Beige Nylons with a Black seam. This is another very striking nylon that will make your legs look slimmer because of the contrast between the Beige stocking and the Black Seam. They were made available to us a short time ago and will be one of our favorite styles. Try a pair, we are sure that you will love them!

Sizing Information for Regular Length Full-Fashioned Nylons

These are 3 to 4 inches shorter than our Opera Length and are appropriate for the smaller woman with shorter legs. With todays shorter skirts and dresses we normally recommend our Opera Length and suggest that you try a pair of those unless you are smaller than the average woman. We will gladly exchange any nylons that have not been tried on. These sizings are only guidelines due to the infinite number of legs shapes and sizes, we wish that we could be more specific.

Reinforced Heel and Toe Nylons (RHT)

We have Reinforced Heel and Toe (RHT) Nylons back in stock!! We finally found a great product that meets our quality standards at a reasonable price.

These are Beautiful ultra sheer, unbelievably soft and shiny vintage style nylon stockings with dark heel and toe reinforcements to help prevent runs. Our reinforced heel and toe stockings are non-stretch, flat knit 100% Nylon with a bit of silicone added to keep them soft and silky. The nylons are very sheer 15 denier and will provide an elegant crystal clear, transparent sexy appearance on your legs.

They have a great feel to them and a very sexy sheen that will make your legs look great!! Our original stock will be in 3 colors and 5 sizes including an Extra Long/Extra Wide size that will fit you if you are 5'9" - 6' 1" tall, and 165 - 200 lbs.

Sizing Information for Reinforced Heel and Toe Nylons
Stocking size is based on your height and weight. These are general guidelines for average legs. These are shorter than our Full Fashioned Opera Length Nylons and not as full, so you may want to try a size larger than you order in Full Fashioned Opera Length on these. Since they do not stretch the stocking will be shorter when worn on a fuller, more shapely leg.

As an example, I'm 5'4" tall and weigh about 155 lbs.. I find that a size Large or Extra Large fits me. The Large do not come up as far on my legs as the Extra Large do and the Extra Large fit about the same as our Full Fashioned Opera Length do, just a tad shorter.

The Extra Long, Extra Wide size is one that we did not have before. The stocking length, from the bottom of the heel to the top of the welt is appx. 41 inches, which is 4 to 5 inches longer than Extra Large, and the stocking is quite a bit fuller than our Extra Large. They are too long and wide for me!!! I would suggest these for women or men who are at least 5'9" tall and who weigh 165 lbs to 200 lbs.. They will fit folks up to about 6'1" tall with average to slimmer legs.

These are a new line for us and we will adjust our size recommendations based on your feedback if necessary. We suggest unpacking a pair, and holding a stocking up next to your leg with the heel touching the floor. This will give you an idea of how they will fit. Remember that some of the length will be taken up when you put them on. The more shapely legs will take up more length and they will be shorter when on you.

Small - 5'0" to 5'3", 105 to 117 lbs

Medium - 5'4" to 5'7", 117 to 130 lbs

Large - 5'4" to 5'9", 130 to 150 lbs

Extra Large - 5'4" to 5'9", 130 to 165 lbs (Will come higher up than Large on your leg)

X-Long, X-Wide - 5'9" to 6'1", 165 to 200 lbs
